Use Nature Skills when an agent needs to run repeatable academic communication workflows instead of giving a generic one-shot writing answer. The operator installs one or more upstream skills/nature-* folders, starts a fresh Codex or Claude Code session, and invokes the specific workflow for manuscript polishing, Nature-style section drafting, citation cleanup, paper reading, reviewer response drafting, data handling, paper-to-slide conversion, or scientific figure preparation. Invoke this when the user has concrete research material, manuscript text, citations, reviewer comments, data notes, or figure requirements and wants the agent to follow a reusable source-backed process with supporting references. Keep the boundary tight: this is an installable collection of academic skill folders for agent runtimes, not a paper database, journal submission service, generic writing product, broad prompt list, or SDK. The upstream install guide also warns to copy whole skill folders because supporting references may be required. Review any generated academic claims, citations, and figure edits against the user’s source material before use.
