Route large codebase analysis through Gemini MCP Tool
Use Gemini MCP Tool to let MCP-capable coding agents delegate large file and codebase analysis to Gemini or Antigravity CLI without leaving the agent workflow.

Gemini MCP Tool is an MCP server that lets an agent call the Gemini or Antigravity CLI from inside an MCP-capable assistant session. An operator configures the server, keeps the Google CLI authenticated, and asks the primary coding agent to delegate large-file inspection, broad codebase questions, or second-model analysis through the exposed MCP tool.
What this skill actually does
Use this when the primary agent needs a larger context window or independent model pass for repository analysis, migration planning, or large document review. The boundary is MCP-mediated analysis delegation to an installed Google CLI backend; it is not a generic Gemini product listing, a standalone chat client, or an SDK reference.
Inputs and prerequisites: Node.js 16+, MCP-capable host such as Claude Code or Claude Desktop, Gemini CLI or Antigravity CLI with authentication.
Setup notes: Configure an MCP server that runs npx -y gemini-mcp-tool, or install globally and add it with claude mcp add gemini-cli — npx -y gemini-mcp-tool. Keep Gemini CLI or Antigravity CLI installed and authenticated before use.
Source and verification boundary: use https://jamubc.github.io/gemini-mcp-tool/ as the canonical reference before running the workflow; keep commands, API calls, CLI usage, and generated outputs reviewable against that upstream source.
Framework fit: publish this as a MCP workflow only when the operator can invoke the documented toolchain directly, rather than treating the upstream project as a generic product listing.
