Control Windows desktop apps through MCP with Terminator
Connect Terminator MCP to an agent so it can inspect and automate real Windows desktop and browser workflows with pixels, DOM, and accessibility context.

Use Terminator when an MCP-capable agent needs to operate a real desktop workflow that is not exposed through a clean API or browser-only automation surface. The operator installs the Terminator MCP server, connects it to Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, or another MCP client, and lets the agent inspect UI state, click, type, and automate applications under supervision. Invoke this instead of using the app normally when repetitive desktop or logged-in browser work needs agent execution with reviewable boundaries. The scope boundary is Terminator’s computer-use MCP server and related Windows automation libraries; it is not a generic RPA platform, browser testing framework, or product website listing.
What this skill actually does
Inputs and prerequisites: MCP-capable client such as Claude Code, Cursor, or VS Code, Node.js/npx, Terminator MCP agent package, Windows desktop environment for full native automation.
Setup notes: Add the MCP server with claude mcp add terminator “npx -y terminator-mcp-agent@latest” or the equivalent MCP client configuration, verify the desktop automation permissions and environment, then run supervised UI automation tasks against the target desktop or browser workflow.
Source and verification boundary: use https://github.com/mediar-ai/terminator/tree/main/terminator-mcp-agent as the canonical reference before running the workflow; keep commands, API calls, CLI usage, and generated outputs reviewable against that upstream source.
Framework fit: publish this as a MCP workflow only when the operator can invoke the documented toolchain directly, rather than treating the upstream project as a generic product listing.
