Run Claude Design-style UI prototyping locally with baoyu-design
Use baoyu-design as a portable agent skill for local UI mockups, prototypes, decks, and design-system workflows that produce inspectable HTML artifacts.
npx skills add agentskillexchange/skills --skill run-claude-design-style-ui-prototyping-locally-with-baoyu-design
Use baoyu-design when a user wants an agent to run a full design workflow inside a local coding environment instead of using claude.ai/design or a one-shot mockup prompt. The agent reads the skill, asks clarifying questions, gathers design context, generates self-contained HTML under a project design folder, previews it locally, and iterates from visual feedback. The scope boundary is the repeatable local design-production loop: mockups, prototypes, decks, import/export, and visual QA handled by a file-capable agent. It is not a generic design product card or a UI library listing.
What this skill actually does
Inputs and prerequisites: Node.js, npx skills, a file-capable coding agent, local browser preview.
Setup notes: Install with npx skills add JimLiu/baoyu-design for the current project, add -g for a global install, or target a host explicitly with –agent claude-code, –agent cursor, or –agent codex.
Source and verification boundary: use https://github.com/JimLiu/baoyu-design as the canonical reference before running the workflow; keep commands, API calls, CLI usage, and generated outputs reviewable against that upstream source.
Framework fit: publish this as a Multi-Framework workflow only when the operator can invoke the documented toolchain directly, rather than treating the upstream project as a generic product listing.
