# Run local coding agents from Feishu or Lark with Lark Coding Agent Bridge

How it works

What this skill actually does

Use this skill when an operator wants to supervise a local Claude Code or Codex CLI from Feishu or Lark instead of staying attached to the terminal. The bridge runs as a local bot, binds a PersonalAgent app, forwards DMs, group mentions, document comments, files, and images to the selected coding agent, and keeps session state per chat or topic.

## What the agent/operator does

1. Install `lark-channel-bridge` globally with npm or pnpm.
2. Run `lark-channel-bridge run` and bind a Feishu or Lark PersonalAgent app through the QR-code wizard.
3. Choose Claude Code or Codex as the local agent profile, then start a foreground run or background service.
4. Use Feishu or Lark DMs, group mentions, or supported document comments to send tasks to the local agent.
5. Switch workspaces with `/cd` or `/ws`, start fresh sessions with `/new`, inspect status with `/status`, and stop long runs with `/stop`.
6. Review streaming cards, tool-call summaries, files, and final replies in the chat thread while the actual agent continues to run locally.

## When to invoke

Invoke this instead of using the coding-agent terminal directly when coding work needs chat-native supervision, mobile access, group visibility, thread-specific session continuity, or a stable background bridge between Lark conversations and local workspaces. It is strongest for operators who already coordinate engineering work in Feishu or Lark and want controlled access to local Claude Code or Codex sessions.

## Scope boundary

This is not a general Lark automation card, a cloud coding agent product, or a messaging SDK listing. Keep the workflow scoped to operating the local bridge that routes Feishu or Lark messages, files, workspace commands, and session controls into Claude Code or Codex CLI profiles.

## Requirements

– Node.js 20.12.0 or newer.
– Claude Code or Codex CLI installed and logged in locally.
– A Feishu or Lark PersonalAgent app, created or bound through the first-run wizard.
– Local workspace paths that the bridge is allowed to expose to the agent.

## Installation

Install globally:

npm i -g lark-channel-bridge

or:

pnpm add -g lark-channel-bridge

Then run:

lark-channel-bridge run

Use `lark-channel-bridge start`, `status`, and `stop` after the first successful setup when you want a background service.

## Verification notes

Source metadata was verified from the exact GitHub repository and README. As of this intake run, zarazhangrui/lark-coding-agent-bridge had 2,076 GitHub stars, MIT license metadata, push activity within 3 days, and README evidence for Feishu/Lark forwarding, Claude Code and Codex profiles, streaming cards, queueing, per-chat sessions, workspace commands, file downloads, QR setup, and background services.
