Quick brief

Use Generative Media Skills when an operator wants an AI agent to execute structured media-generation recipes instead of manually driving a media product UI. The workflow installs the MuAPI CLI and the skill pack, configures an API key, then lets a compatible agent run documented recipes for image generation, video generation, product ads, social media packs, storyboards, logos, brand kits, music videos, UGC-style ads, product showcases, and other creative production tasks.

How it works

What this skill actually does

Invoke it instead of using the MuAPI product normally when the work benefits from repeatable agent steps: collecting inputs, choosing the recipe, calling muapi commands or recipe scripts, downloading outputs, and handing assets back for review. The scope boundary is the open skill repository and its documented recipe library for agent-executed media workflows. It is not a generic AI art prompt collection, a model marketplace listing, or a standalone MuAPI product card.

Inputs and prerequisites: Node.js with npm or npx; optional pip path for muapi-cli; a MuAPI account and API key; a compatible skill host such as Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, or another agent that can install and execute markdown skill recipes.

Setup notes: Install muapi-cli with npm install -g muapi-cli, pip install muapi-cli, or run npx muapi-cli –help. Configure credentials with muapi auth configure. Install all skills with npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills –all, or install a specific skill with npx skills add SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills –skill muapi-media-generation. Target specific agents with flags such as -a claude-code -a cursor when supported by the skills CLI.

Source and verification boundary: use https://github.com/SamurAIGPT/Generative-Media-Skills and https://github.com/SamurAIGPT/muapi-cli as the canonical references before running the workflow; keep API calls, command output, downloaded media, and generated assets reviewable before publication.

Framework fit: publish this as a Multi-Framework workflow because upstream explicitly targets several agent hosts and the skill describes a concrete creative-production workflow that can be invoked from multiple runtimes.
