Use Craft Agents when an operator needs to turn a repo, document workspace, API, or MCP configuration into a supervised desktop agent workspace with clear source connections, permission modes, and session status tracking. The agent can import Claude Code skills, add MCP or REST API sources, configure local subprocess MCP servers, and run long-running sessions with reviewable diffs and workflow states. A useful run ends with named sources available, a permission mode chosen, and at least one session proving the workspace can reach the intended tools.
What this skill actually does
Invoke this instead of using the product normally when the job is to prepare a repeatable operating environment for agent work, not just chat in another desktop app. The scope boundary is workspace setup and source/skill orchestration: connect the necessary sources, choose safe permission behavior, import or create skills, and validate that sessions can use the intended tools. It is not a general listing for the Craft desktop app or a blanket endorsement of every feature in the platform.
